Low Dive, Asbury Park, NJ
Drove out to Asbury Park with my oldest kid to see joe p. It was a rather strange night; the show started really late (apparently Joe had to run back to his house) and there were a number of fire alarms that went off in the venue. While the fire marshall was there they determined they were over capacity and were trying to get people to go outside. I was already sitting out on the back deck so I figured it was a good place to stay. Though, that meant I got to see some guy who seemed to be on something get arrested on the boardwalk. Overall it was a nice night, though, and I was able to listen to the music without being in the midst of the super-hyped fan base jammed into a crowded bar.
